Waited for the shadow, got a sneeze

Stood 12 minutes at 14th & 7th waiting for a clean silhouette at f/8, and the instant the geometry lined up, a guy stepped in, sneezed, and my AF locked onto the tissue mid-air. anyone else?

I’d pre-focus where the silhouette lines up, flip to MF, and call it sneeze‑proof mode so the next “locked onto the tissue” just sails by. If you’d rather stay AF, set back‑button AF and disable shutter AF so it won’t re-focus — are you set up like that, @OP?
