I’ve booked remote headshot work by mailing clients a $10 gray card and doing a 5‑minute Zoom tether; for harsh “midday” light, I have them face a north window and clip a white pillowcase over it as a quick diffuser. Certificates haven’t moved the needle for me — what does is pricing the “simple headshot” to include at least 20 minutes of cleanup, otherwise it eats your margin.
