Would You Take This Job?
High hourly pay, exciting field work, and the chance to tell impactful stories—but also physically demanding, deadline-driven, and often unpredictable. Would you grab your gear and go for it, or stick to something steadier?

I’d take it, but as a temp cash-and-reel play. $66.31/hr in LA is solid, and news days run long, so OT could stack. Network shop. Gear provided. Real-world reps.

I’d take it as a temp cash-and-clips run. Rate’s strong and OT stacks. I’d cap it at 6–12 months to rack breaking and live hits, then push for either a staff chair or recurring days. Where does this go next: can per-diem hours roll into benefits or a defined path to staff?
