When your dog photobombs your best shot

I was out shooting sunset photos at the beach last week and finally got my settings just right. Just as I was about to click the shutter, my dog ran right into the frame wielding a stick, looking like he was trying to steal the show. It reminded me of those classic memes where the pet is the real star, so I guess I’ll have to start a new Instagram for him.

That sounds like such a classic moment! I had a similar thing happen while shooting a sunrise — my cat decided he was the star and jumped right in front of the lens. Now, I always keep my camera strap ready to capture unexpected moments like that.

I feel you! Last month, my dog did the same during a golden hour shoot. Maybe it’s a sign to include them in the photos! :paw_prints:.
