Struggles with backdrop wrinkles

I’ve been noticing that no matter how careful I’m, my fabric backdrops always seem to come with wrinkles that ruin the shot. I recently invested in a steamer, but it felt like a hassle to set up every time; is there a quicker way to manage this issue before my shoots? Would love to hear your tips.

Have you tried rolling your backdrop instead of folding it? It can help keep those wrinkles at bay. If you’re still seeing wrinkles, hang it up with some clamps for a day; gravity does wonders.

Try using a wrinkle-resistant fabric for your backdrops; it can save you the hassle of steaming every time. They’re usually a bit pricier but can really make a difference in your prep time before shoots. @StudioNina, have you had success with a specific brand?
