RS 4 worth it over RS 3

Does the RS 4 kill the micro-bounce the RS 3 showed on light footsteps? I’m balancing a Sony A7 IV with a 35mm f/1.4 most days and only need smoother walk-and-talks, not more payload.

RS 4 smooths a touch better than RS 3, but it won’t kill the “micro‑bounce” — that’s vertical movement; it’s like putting sport shocks on a car, you’ll still feel speed bumps. For an A7 IV + 35/1.4, try SuperSmooth on and back off tilt/roll stiffness a bit, or add a 4th‑axis like the Tilta Float (Tilta Float System Bottom Counterweight Bracket | Tilta). Are you trying to stay gimbal‑only, or open to a small add‑on?
