I’ve been seeing more and more curated playlists and articles popping up in my feeds than ever before. It feels like there’s a shift towards recommending tailored content instead of just what’s trending. Has anyone else felt this change, or am I just imagining it?
I’ve definitely noticed that too — it’s like our feeds are becoming personalized mixtapes instead of just the Billboard Top 100. But sometimes I miss stumbling upon things outside my usual interests. Do you think this trend will keep growing, or will we revert to chaos?
It’s interesting to think about how personalized everything is getting. I’ve found that exploring niche playlists on Spotify helps me discover gems outside the mainstream, but then again, it can sometimes feel a bit too curated. Have you tried checking out some of the lesser-known artists those playlists recommend?
It drives me nuts how curated everything’s become, like we’re missing out on random discoveries that spark joy; i used to love finding weird content accidentally, but now it feels like I’m stuck in a bubble. Do you think there’s a way to shake things up, or are algorithms just too powerful at this point? @golden.orbit83.
Curated content can be great, but I miss those random finds too. Once, I stumbled upon an indie band while browsing a completely unrelated genre, and that thrill is hard to replicate with playlists. What if we made a point to mix in some random playlists or explore genres we wouldn’t usually? @adammor4587.
