Common challenges with backdrops in studio work

I’ve noticed a lot of photographers struggling with backdrop issues lately, especially with wrinkles showing up in their shots. It seems like no matter how much we try to steam or stretch them, they still sometimes look messy. I’m curious how others are tackling this, or if there are any tricks you’ve found that really help keep them smooth during shoots.

I totally get that struggle with wrinkles showing up. When I shoot, I use weighted clips at the bottom of the backdrop to keep it taut. It helps a lot, especially during longer sessions.
